The Treasure Beach Women's Group organized a small group of children and a few TBWG members who went around to 40 (yes, that's right 40!) of our elderly and shut-ins bringing them Christmas gifts and singing Christmas carols.

The owners and family members of Karibu Cottage also came along for some of the time.

This was a great success and we sincerely hope the amount of singers will increase for next year. I was told some of the folks visited were moved to tears - now that is the true meaning of giving at Christmas time.

Thank you to the TBWG for organizing and sponsoring this wonderful event. Thank you to our lovely singers Tashalie Campbell, Tannise Lewis, Ashley Nembhard, and Chelsea Nathon (please correct me if I've misspelled any names). Thank you to our handsome driver Keriff James. This is a tradition which I hope goes on and on and grows with each year.

Merry Christmas everyone!

I was moved to tears not only because there was Clem in my living room with her beautiful smile but the sentiment behind the act. I know that this is true for me we have so much and are mobile that we forget about those that are less fortunate than ourselves. I have been truly humbled and ashamed to know that I could do so much more than I do. Thanks for the lesson in humility.

May God bless these children for participating in this treat for the elderly. It's little things like this that will mold them into great citizens. To the sponsors, very good job and God's richest blessing to all.

It breaks my heart to read some of these postings knowing that there are families all over the world that has someone in their family that do need a helping hand and yet no one visits or even pick up the telephone to see how they are doing.
To me that is when tears flow down my cheeks.
The bible say do unto to others as you would like them to do unto you.
I say look into our hearts and do good to those that really and truly need a hug, a few groceries brought in, a bowl of soup or cup of tea when you are lying in bed with the flu.
It is wonderful to do good so, for this NEW YEAR let us all remember the "FORGOTTEN" family members that have been waiting to see a face or hear a voice that will but a smile on their face.
FAMILY>>>>FAMILY>>>>FAMILY.
