News reports are coming in about a plane crash at Kingston airport (Norman Manley) involving American Airways flight 331 from Miami, originating from Washington DC.

Note this line: Airline spokesman Charlie Wilson said in a short statement there were no immediate reports of fatalities or injuries.

This morning when I saw the news it said that 80 some people were injured but no one was killed and that the plane broke into 3 pieces. Regardless, it sounds like everyone was very lucky.

I'm so glad to hear there were no fatalities. I'm sure our health, emergency and security network and personel have been tested. Wishing those that experienced this the best and hope they will be given VIP treatment all the way.
