You know how I can tell? They've started decorating Miss Olive's yard!!
What signs do you see that tells you Christmas soon arrive in Jamaica? I will try my best to take a photo of your suggestions.
Miss Olive, I want to say thank for the years of hard work making our community so beautiful, every year my kids cant wait to come home to see the light. We live in the US, when the kids go back to school they will take pictures of your house to show there friends, they are all excited each year to see all the new stuff. Thanks for making my kids Christmas a special one. God Bless
Sorrel and Green Gungo
The lovely high 'seymour' grass.
The Christmas breeze (sorry you can't take this one Rebecca (haha).
Christmas Carols being sung at TB Church.
Goats being butchered for curry goat.
Families coming home from abroad.
The lovely high 'seymour' grass.
Green gungo peas
Tangerines always remind me of Christmas in Jamaica.
More to come . . .
Keep the suggestions coming!
You better watch out, you better not cry . . .
LOL, they almost look like they could be pulling a sleigh : )
Are those goats still roaming TB - who's the owner? They look beautiful but they can be a menace to homeowners who love flowers and fruit trees.
Thanks for the pics Rebecca keep them coming.
Hi Rebecca, did you get a chance to see Miss olive
house after she finish decorating, please post if
you have new picture,I always hear about her house, not in TB Christmas time to see it.have a healthy and happy holiday.
It is amazing once again this year. Each year it seems more lights are added!
Thanks Rebecca, this is spectacular, and thanks to Miss Olive, when I heard about it I did not know it was anything like this, as long as I can remember
she have been putting lights up.
What a difference the years has made. When I was a little girl the only Christmas tree I ever saw was the one My beloved Aunt Daph made from a tree branch using cotton as the snow.
She also used regular socks as Christmas stockings and put little goodies in them for us.
We were happy to get out the ice cream bucket and make home made ice cream.
Nicely done Olive. What a joy for the children to see.
