Is there anywhere to golf near Treasure Beach? I read there's a golf course in Mandeville but I was wondering if local folks know of other golf courses that are more 'local' and less upscale? Thanks for any info.

Mandeville is the nearest and it is a challenging 9 holes course. The alternative, is just outside Savannah la Mar but is quite a way from TB. Personally, don't know what it is like.

Trust me, Mandeville is not an upscale golf course. I've had several guests use their facilities and have been very pleased. One golfed at Tryall in Mobay (very upscale) and the Manchester Golf Course in Mandeville and preferred the down to earth facilities in Mandeville.

Each and every one of our guests who have used the course in Mandeville have raved about their experiences. They say golfing has never been so much fun. Go for it, Jim!

I would suggest the Mandeville Course. It is not upscale and having the caddie experience is priceless. This course is also the oldest course in the Western Hemisphere....a little piece of history.

The golf course in Mandeville should not be missed. We golfed it about 3 years ago and had an absolute blast! I highly recommend it.

Tip: take alot of water! It's a hot walk (of course, that could be directly related to the number of strokes I needed to take)
