Years ago, I've informally adopted three children from Sandy Bank (I take care of their needs during the year and they stay with my daughter and me when we come during the Christmas holiday. I'm working on getting them visas, etc.) We used to rent Mr. Burns' white house right above the fishing boats at Calabash Bay which was perfect for us but it's no longer free. Last year we stayed in Villa Arcadia - beautiful but much too grand and expensive. (We don't need a cook, caretaker, pool, hot water air conditioning, etc etc.) Also it was far from a beach. Now I'm looking for a very basic, affordable cottage near the beach with enough beds for three teenage girls, one teenage boy, and a room for me, a 60 year old professor from New York City. We shop, cook, clean for ourselves. The kids are good as gold - quiet, neat, respectful of others' property - we've never had a complaint all the years I've been coming, but I will pay a damage deposit. Dates are Dec.23 or 24 - Jan 3 or 4. I know it's the hardest time, but trust something will come through. We love Treasure Beach and consider it a home from home. I've written to Rebecca too, but thought someone else might have an idea. Thanks and Blessings! Andrea FL

Hi Aunty
Please visit the Two Seasons Guest House web-site at www.2seasonsguesthouse.com. Click on rates to view rates or contact me at booking@2seasonsguesthouse.com
We are 400 yards west of Treasure Beach hotel. 10-20 mins walk to the beach, depending on where you want to swim.
