Would this be too much to take on in one day?
Mandeville for a look around.
Alligator Pond for the fun of it.
Little Ochie for a fish dinner
Lover's Leap for the view.
Not at all. I would be a lovely day. I would recommending starting early as you want to make sure to get to Lover's Leap before dark.
Sounds like a pretty great use of a day to me.....im jealous......
hey Husker, no problem, just stop at lovers on the way out, on the way to mandeville, lunch in mandeville, and back to little ochi late afternoon, well rounded day, but it will be fun
Sounds like a perfect day.
Nige's itinerary is a good one.
Yes it is a good plan for the day. However, I disagree with Nige. Skip lunch in Mandeville and have lunch/dinner at Little Ochie in Alligator Pond !! Great seafood there !!!!!!
ONE LOVE !!
Mike
try the same except do Accompong, instead of Mandeville, go back down to Santa Cruz, up to Malvern, down again to Alligator Pond. The variety of climate, and terrain is stunning.
I'd try to be to be in Accompong rather early in the AM, or come the night before! It would be a long day pon the road, but plan more time, with longer stops, and you w'ont be too burned out in the end. The altitude ranges from sea level to over 2000', enjoy!
I tried that once via Accompong, unfortunately our driver got lost and we spent the whole day in the car and no sight of Accompong... I'm jealous!
I agree with MikeyMike that Little Ochie has great seafood in Alligator Pond...I'd still make it my last stop and have a drink and something to eat before you head back to TB.
Mandeville is not a typical tourist route unless you are going to go golfing, but the drive is a nice change of pace and you get to see the diversity that JA has to offer.
Whatever you decide to do will be a great day.
Thank you all very much! We are so looking forward to our trip to Treasure Beach and beyond.
