I would appreciate honest feed-back from some Treasure Beach Residents in regards to a safe clean place to stay for two weeks. I am traveling alone and this information would be my utmost peace of mind.
I think I can trust you all to steer me in right direction. By the way I am a retired female and would like a place that has a live-in housekeeper on the property.
Thanks.

As a single woman living in Treasure Beach for the past 16 years, if I did not feel safe staying at a place I would not promote it on the Treasure Tours website.

Please check out our website at www.treasuretoursjamaica.com and email us at treasuretours@cwjamaica.com with any questions you may have.

Grandma, first and foremost I would definately trust ANYTHING and ANYPLACE that Rebecca would recommend. She runs an honest and reliable company and her employees are top notch.
Second, as a single female I have traveled to Jamaica and Treasure Beach many times. I;m not sure if you are looking for a villa or hotel. I have only stayed extensively at one place in TB that is Sunset Resort. I can tell you the owner is on the property and always just a step away, there is a security guard and I have always felt safe there. And housekeeping is done everyday. There is at least one room that has a full kitchen as well.
In fact a couple days after a tad too much drinking the night before the owner sent a staff member to my room to be sure I was alright has they hadn't seen me.
I am sure you will find something reliable and safe and have a great trip

Rebecca is correct, Treasure Beach is a safe place for a single woman.

In addition to Treasure Tours Jamaica's great site, feel free to look at Jamaica Escapes as well <http://www.jamaicaescapes.com> we would be pleased to help you as well. You can contact us at <info@jamaicaescapes.com> if anything looks interesting.

No need to worry.
Treasure Beach is a very safe place for single female to visit.
Community oriented place, where most people know each other.
I also agree that anyplace on TB website is safe.
You are going to LOVE TB !!!
ONE LOVE !!
Mike

Can anyone comment on Ashanti Village. It seems like an ideal place to relax. I'm just looking for a simple safe place without the comings and goings.
A bit off the main but not in the woods.

MikeyMike maybe you can help you seem to know Treasure Beach really well.

The first place that I stayed in TB was Irie Rest. It was my first trip alone. Lennie and Pauline took wonderful care of me. The place is safe, clean and affordable. Pauline is a wonderful cook too.

I have also stayed at and felt safe and comfortable at Shakespeare Cottage and Vikings House (though I was not alone). but , I would be comfortable there alone. These places and family owned and operated.

I would recommend Irie Rest for a single woman. Good food. Nice section of TB. Good beaches.

I am a single woman who just returned from 10 days in TB, and I would echo the comments here that any place recommended on this site is reputable. I stayed at Nuestra Casa in Billy's Bay where there is a staff person on site day and evening. The house is lovely, and Anika and Jeremy took excellent care of me (with help from Kanute and Milton, too).

I've stayed in Frenchman's and Calabash Bay, too, and I've never had any trouble. TB is an incredibly safe area, and I really think you don't need to worry about traveling alone. Yes, you need to be aware of your surroundings, and it's not a great idea to be out alone at night, but that's just general common sense and not something that makes TB any different from anywhere else you would be. What does make TB different is how warm and friendly people are and how people tend to look out for visitors and offer help whenever it appears to be needed.

Ashanti is a wonderful place. Aleeda (the owner, who lives on property) has a lovely garden which is perfect for sitting quietly and enjoying all the flowers.

I would highly recommend it!

I have never heard anything negative about Ashanti Village.

To Whom It May Concern

Re: Book Sponsorship

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to implore upon you and your staff to sponsor 1 or more copies of my book A Gift With A Message For Life Book 1.

The above mention book is available online on www.lulu.com. However, due to lack of funds I have not been able to get a good royalty to sustain myself. Presently I am unemployed and unable to pick up a job despite my relentless effort.

I have other books on www.lulu.com, www.amazon.com, www.booksurge.com and www.unibook.com, but the lack of funds means that no one really knows about these books. Furthermore, since most people don't know about them they are unable to purchase them. This is why I need your support in sponsoring 1 or more copies of my book A Gift With A Message For Life Book 1.

Novelty Trading Company has decided to distribute copies of A Gift with A Message For Life Book 1 all over Jamaica . Presently I have a contract with this company. Recently
they requested that I send them 100 copies of this book. However, I am unable to fulfill this request due to lack of funds. Therefore I am asking you please to sponsor 1 or more copies of my book A Gift With A Message For Life Book 1 by sending JA $700.00 to my Scotia Bank Account. JA $700.00 is to sponsor one copy.

My Account detail is as follow;

Winsome Ebanks
Bank Of Novia Scotia
Black River Branch
Account Number: 6693

Also, you can sponsor my book by sending a cheque to:
Winsome Ebanks
Watchwell District,
Watchwell P.A
St. Elizabeth
Jamaica W.I.

or you can visit www.lulu.com, www.amazon.com, www.booksurge.com and www.unibook.com and buy a copy or copies of my books so that I can sustain myself with my royalties.

Thanks for your kind co-operation.

I have visited the "lulu site" and previewed some of these books. Are the prices in $Ja or $Us?
