By TBWG on Monday, September 21, 2009 - 01:25 pm: Edit PostThe Treasure Beach Women's Group Benevolent Society celebrated their Annual General Meeting and 9th Birthday on a rainy September 15th afternoon.
Members and guests turned out to hear the TBWG audit reports, activities past, new business and thanked past and present people who have helped the TBWG. Members also voted in the new committee of management for 2009. Entertainment was provided by the very funny 'Miss Dinie's Husband'. After the agenda was completed, happy birthday was sung and food flowed.
We would like to thank all that attended our Annual General Meeting and Birthday Party and we look forward to continuing our mission to promote the advancement of women and the Treasure Beach community as a whole, through education, income producing projects, and awareness of women’s health and women’s issues.
