Please be reminded that BREDS will be holding a General Meeting at 5.00PM Sandy Bank School in Treasure Beach on Tuesday 22nd September 2009.

The meeting will afford members of the community to hear first hand the views of the BREDS Board of Directors on questions to do with the environment, health, education and sports.

The BREDS board are still working on a Communication Strategy to answer the many and varied questions to do with the Sports Park,the environment etc. Once this is in place the questions that can be answered at this moment in time will be disseminated through channels such as Treasure Beach.net and the BREDS web site www.breds.org

The BREDS Directors look forward to seeing as many people as possible.

What about the questions Mrs. Kennedy sent to BREDS on August 3? Will she not be receiving answers directly from BREDS? If there are not answers to all the questions she submitted, will she not be sent answers to those for which there is an answer?

Even if future questions are not answered individually, Mrs. Kennedy and others who submitted questions are entitled to receive written answers from BREDS. After all, BREDS said they would do this in their July 6th posting on this site. I don't believe it's OK to promise to answer questions if someone sends them in, and then later decide those questions will not be answered. Also, the new BREDS website was promised to be up two months from the June 22nd meeting and it's still not up.

Were any of Mrs. Kennedy's questions addressed at the meeting? Will she be receiving answers directly from BREDS as promised?

I guess the meeting took place. For those of us who could not be there, will BREDS be posting minutes?
