The Messiah’s love for Jamaica is awesome. He has blessed us with powerful human and natural resources. We have some really talented people in this beautiful island. Therefore, we need to put more value on the human resource. We also need to invest more in our people. Not all of us can be athletes. But, all of us can contribute to the development of our country in one way or the other. I am not discrediting the athletes. They have made a great contribution in globalizing the thought “Jamaicans are among the very best.” Big respect to the athletes, even those who failed to medal in Berlin, Germany.

We as Jamaicans need to start following Ebanks’ IFULFIL principles from Ebanks’ Theory of Achieving Success

1.Identify ones’ skills, talents and abilities.

2.Find ways to use them.

3.Use the natural, human and capital resources available.

4.Link up with people who will propel your ideas.

5.Formulate your goals and steps to reach or achieve them.

6.Incorporate your skills, talents, experiences, wisdom, knowledge, understanding and abilities in one’s daily step towards ones’ goals.

7.Leave time for appraisal. When one has reached one’s goal he or she needs to reward those who have helped him or her to reach those goals. Spare time for worship and meditation. One also needs to assess his or her strengths and weaknesses so that one can stay on the rooftop.
