Mannish water is a type of soup made with goat meat.Pretty tasty when it is made by someone with experience.

From Nyam Jamaica, p.293: "Take a large pot. Put one roast clean, chop up goat head with cleaned intestines, testicles and foot cut in pieces. Add 8 cloves garlic, 5 stalks scallion, 2 sweet green pepper (all chopped), 2 whole Scotch Bonnet, 3 whole sprig thyme, 12 pimento corns, 1 tablespoon salt. Cover wid water. Bwoyl until renk fi about 2 hours. Take out Scotch Bonnet. Don't break. Add 3 peeled green bananas, 1/2 pound yam, 3 small 'Irish' (potatoes), 2 cho cho - all peeled. Add 2 fresh Scotch whole, 1 package Maggi cock soup, boil fi annudder hour. Taste fuh salt and pepper. Serve as a clear soup. Invite de men dem." Serves 12.

Mannish is very suggestive.Although this soup is had by both sexes it is said to make a man more mannish after consuming it.Know what I mean?
