Why was my birthday post to Ranny not posted?
It was posted in the appropriate category of Birth, Death, Marriage, Congratulations, etc.
Please look in that category or click on New in the past 3 days and you will see it come up.
I see it. But why is it not with all the other messages in that section? Why do I have to go back the last three days instead of just scrolling down where all the other messages are?
Thanks.
You originally posted the message in the TB Runnins instead of the Births, Death, etc category. We moved it to Birthdays, which is why you could not scroll down in the the Runnins section and see it.
Since you posted it on 8/22 at 1:55pm and posted this message on 8/23 7:59pm, you could have used either the last 2 days link to view it or the last 3 days link.
Does this answer the question?

Actually, no. I did post it under the correct category. I did not post it under TB Runnins, but under Births, Death, etc...but whatever. Not going to beat this up.
Thanks, and have a great day!
Lots of people put their congratulations, death announcements, etc in this main category (TB Runnins) by mistake, so you're certainly not the only one who's made the simple error. Unfortunately, its all too easy to do under our current design. Clicking on the Post New Message button at the top left puts messages into the main category. We're going to make it easier to add message to the correct category when we do the redesign of the site (soon come!).
But to turn this into a positive, here's how to add a Birth, Death, Marriage, or Congratulations posting the right way:
-Go to the Birth/Death/Marriage/Congratulation category at use the Start New Thread button at the bottom of the page. This will ensure its in the right place and at the top of the list.
BTW, to get an idea of how many have been moved, go to the Birth, etc category and scroll all the way to the bottom. You'll notice 7 posts that are have August dates on them. These were moved and were automatically put at the bottom of the list. We forgot to move them to the top (our fault).

Thanks for your time and help!
Your efforts as always are outstanding!
Not everyone is computer savy. I go on TBNet and read listing on the left then choose what or Where I want to go/do.
Just click on the underlined topic and there you have it.
Good Luck.
I know TBNet has been good helping people how to do this. Thank God we have them so we can keep in touch with our people when we need to.
A message was mistakenly posted earlier as it was not within the guidelines. We apologize for the error and for any offense caused.
Thank you!
I appreciate that!
