Has anyone stayed at this very interesting-looking place? If so, would you recommend it?

Never stayed there but it's down in Billys Bay which I think is the most quiet section of TB. Views from the house are spectacular because it's up so high. The minus to me would be all the stairs to get up to the house, meaning you better be in pretty good shape. Also it's not on the beach side of the road.

We have not stayed there, but have walked past and it looks nice. We could highly recommend Villa Arcadia! So private, you have your own POOL!! The sea in across the road. It is heaven to us!

Villa Sunsplash is "heaven" to us. Private villa, pool, and beach. The staff are like family too!

I've always wanted wanted to stay there. It looks so beautiful. I'll be making my first stay in Billy's Bay this fall, but couldn't do Matumba this year with my limited budget. The stairs would be a bit of a minus for me, with my arthritic knees, but I might be willing to go for it all the same. If you go, please post a review for all of us curious people!

Jim-Donna, I've always looked longingly at the Arcadia pictures. It's definitely out of my price range, but one day ...

I haven't stayed there, but got a sneak peak when a friend was there.

It is AMAZING in design and vibe. All natural wood and tile inside with bamboo furnishings.

I love how the lower level had one wall which is the cliff upon which it is built. On that level there are some really nice huge drums Muta brought from Africa.

Very natural design, with a view that is priceless from the upper level verandah.

As others have mentioned, there are ALOT of steps and it is fairly isolated. This may be a positive for some people however.

I live in TB and it is one of the places I dream to spend a few days at if the budget ever allows.
