I have a question regarding customs upon entering Jamaica. In the past, I have always checked the box 'vacation' when asked the purpose of the visit. Do they treat you any different if you check the box 'business'? I don't want to lie, but I don't want to get raked through the coals either. So do they treat you any different if you check 'vacation' or business'...
Thanks!
You probably will get a closer inspection if you check business.
ONE LOVE !!

I personally commend you for not wanting to lie...but I would think it might depend 1) if they notice, and 2) who you get for the customs agent whether or not you will get raked through the coals. I once simply asked a question about to clarify how long I could stay for future reference and was clear about it being for future reference and was raked through the coals for a 10 day stay.....sooooo.
You will get a closer inspection and probably ask what type of business you are doing in JA.
