Is there a place in Treasure Beach to exchange money? We have stayed at Jakes before (but just for a couple nights so we didn't need a lot of cash) and are considering renting a house for a week or so and am wondering what to do about money. I don't like carrying a lot of money on me at one time so we would need to cash a travelers check now and then. We won't have a car either. I know we can hire a driver to take us to Black River, but was just wondering if there is a Cambio or anywhere to cash a few travelers checks in Treasure Beach.

Jakes has always cashed them for us. We haven't stayed there but frequent the restaurant, bar, and gift shop, $100 at a time.

Southern Supplies and Services located next to the ice factory exchanges. You may also want to check with the staff of where you are staying.

I believe you can also exchange currency at the CrossRoads Grocery. I'm almost positive we did this past August when we went there.
