Rainbow Tree is wonderful for a family with kids. The staff is happy to serve meals to the children separately if and when wanted. There is plenty for kids to do - a beach, a pool, and lots of neighboring children; the staff can pick out the ones that will get along best with your children. Also, if your children need supervision, there is always a staff member to do it responsibly and with love. The staff also knows how to set up great childrens parties.

I reccomend Blue Marlin or Coquina. Miss Sally was like a second mother to my kids 14, 13 and 10 at the time. She will take great care of the kids.

Large beach, very private and great kids walking the beach. Away from the hustle, but easy to get to if you want to venture out. Very large land space.

Blue Marlin and Coquina are wonderful places for a family/children. Great Bay Beach is one of the best as far as no coral or undertow, just all sand.

Miss Sally is the caretaker of Blue Marlin is a lovely woman and superb cook and her sister Miss Derry who manages Coquina - is a very sweet lady. The 2.5 acres of grounds are beautifully maintained and great for running around and playing.

Please feel free to contact Jamaica Escapes to see full details on Blue Marlin, Coquina and several other properties in TB. We look forward to hearing from you.

I would highly recommend Rainbow Tree.

Amazing (and almost private) beach with shallow swimming for kids. You feel the entire world is yours. Friendly staff and great cooks.
And there is a pool.

Great Bay is a public beach ..

Great Bay is a public beach, but typically used only by a few locals down towards the Bluff and a few visitors. It is one of the largest, sandiest beaches in TB -- plenty of room and privacy.

Ditto on Rainbow Tree. You get TWO full-time housekeepers for no extra cost. They each are Moms and they will treat your children as wonderfully as they treat their own. They also know that you would like some adult time and are adept at entertaining your little ones while you want to relax without kids underfoot. Meals are delicious. House and grounds are spacious. There's a DVD/TV if your kids insist. (We asked it to be removed and the kids didn't miss it one bit.)

we stayed @Bue Marlin and Coquina almost 4 years ago-5 couples and 6 kids from 1 year to 6. It was amazing, great beach and WODERFUL staff. Miss Sally and her sisters will take great care of you, but be careful of her cooking....you may come back with a few extra pounds it is sooooo good.

Hi JW.

Look at Button bay Beach Getaway. It is very child friendly. They have a pool that is designed for children it even has a slide. They have a nanny that will help with the chiildren. I think the web site is www.buttonbayjamaica.com. The rates are excellent. Take a look.

RAINBOW TREE is THE PLACE FOR FAMILY VACATIONS. Your kids will be well cared for by the staff, you will be able to enjoy ur vacation to the highest and so will your kids. The staff will plan kiddie parties, watch and entertain the kids. prepare the best food both for you and your kids. you will be given the opportunity to enjoy the attractions, stay out, and to top it off...the hospitalty is great and staff will prepare most anything you like whilst giving your kids motherly love....as they too are mothers.

Great Bay is probably the best beach in the area (especially for kids)

Let's face it folks, anywhere in Treasure Beach is great for kids because here you will find the essence of the phrase 'it takes a village' and your children will be welcomed, loved and cared for by all they meet.

think it all depends on the age of the kids .. if very young then i would recommend highly rainbow tree or shakti villa. button bay is wonderful too but not for very young children as has many steps.

great bay beach is nice when calm but it can be crowded at times as is a public beach. also there is a loud sound system session every now and again which shakes the walls and can be most annoying and intrusive.

Button Bay is what I would choose. They are 1 mile away from the best beach in Treasure Beach. Fort Charles Bay. 11 miles of sandy beach and the water is very rarely rough. They have by far the best child friendly pool. The accommodations are great for a family. It is quiet and 1 mile away from where Rainbow Tree is located.

I highly recommend Rainbow tree. It offers privacy as well as care for your children. there is a semi-private beach right in front of the villa. a huge yard for children to play..a den/library with books for you and your hubby and lots of books for the kids. there are game shelves with card games puzzles building blocks and other board games. there are kids livin closeby who will gladly play with your kids if you wish for this. for you there is a driver..and a very couteous one i might add who will take you out when you desire..whether it be a romantic dinner or an adventurous tour...there are waterfalls tours for you and the kids as well as boat tours and the driver will also take you to lovers leap which is not too far away.wow the food at rainbow tree is the absolute best...they'll provide most anything you desire to suit your taste. i have been on my 4th trip here and i have three kids the oldest is 9 and they beg me to come again.try it and see..taste your piece of paradise at RAINBOW TREE

Great Bay beach is usually the calmest part of TB. Crouded? Maybe only by TB standards. I have been to great Bay beach many, many times. I have NEVER seen it crowded. There are more people there than Billy's Bay or Fort Charles. But, crowded? No way.
