i am sorry to say this is a bias network, why is it they print what they want, i dont know if they have access to the acctual computer or persons but i am talking from experience, which my letters and ideas are not printed in the columns.

To discusted: I really wasn't going to respond to this but changed my mind....I would think the fact that they would even post this should prove something...I would support Rebecca and Eric to the full extent. Just my two cents.

This thread just seem like a waste, if i was Eric i would not have post it to begin with. You are upset because other stuff that you write didnt get post, have you ever stop to think that it didnt meet the guide lines. Eric and Rebecca is always explaining why certain message dont get post and they should get tired of repeating the same thing.

There is so much happening in the world and all you can think about is that your message didnt get post. take a look at the forum and you will see how many people are dying, take a look around you and find somthing else to worry about. i just dont see why people complain about the small stuff all the time and its always to start something.

I too can attest to things not being posted on the site. I strongly feel that the web masters post what they feel like. In the past I have written messages on this site but only to check the next day and to find out that nothing was posted. Shame, shame, shame!!!!! I guess prejudice is everywhere, huh??

Here's an idea for all those who want to keep beating this tb.net conspiracy horse....

1. Go to www.godaddy.com and purchase your own domain name. You can add some reference to treasure beach in it if you like. Something like www. treasurebeachalternative.com you get the idea... Oh and don't forget to buy yourself some server space too.

2. Purchase yourself, or download for free some html editing software so you can build a website. If you don't know how, there are plenty of options for you on the web to get this job done.

3. Find a forum. Free or otherwise. They're all over the place. You can add it to your shiny new website.

4. Find people to join your new forum. Hire or find volunteers to moderate it. Sit back and watch people unabashedly trash each other. Mission accomplished.

5. Hmm, you've exceeded your bandwidth? Geesh, that costs money... Pay to have more server space. While your at it, might as well renew your domain name too.

6. Sit back and bask in pride about how you've successfully stuck it to 'the man'.

-Really? I'm just tired of reading these silly posts about petty stuff. The same people whining about "moderation" will be the same people hanging on Rebecca's every word during the next hurricane. Happy to send her into the eye to see if Uncle Joe is doing alright. Please.

Thanks to this site we can see the lovely pictures from the children's art camp, the basic school graduation, the festivals, sports, parties, and sunsets. We get to hear about people we have met and hope to meet again. We stay connected. People can complain all they want, but where else is there a public, up front, debate about such things as the Sports Park and other controversies. There's even controversy, unbelievably, about a community based nurse. When there's a hurricane or a crime, a new business or changes in an old one, we learn about it here. I don't care if it's perfect, I'm just glad it's up and running.

To the extent that tourism, community or otherwise, is important and valued by the TB community, this site, warts and all, is of inestimable support for it. And after all, just like TV, no one has to watch it if they don't like it.

To A Plan: Sounds like a fantastic plan. I got an email from someone yesterday to the effect of "I know Eric and Rebecca didn't print such and such because they don't agree with me." I happen to know this is not the case, but the person was trying to use TB.net for his own personal vendetta against someone else. I told him so but he refused to believe me.

I can't imagine all the posts that Eric and Rebecca have to discard because people cannot speak about things in acceptable language. It's obvious they print things that are controversial. If it's too much trouble to submit something in polite words, don't waste your time.

On several occasions I have sent my ideas and suggestions to TBN and they were never posted. I said nothing rude or out of line. Even CNN has posted people's disagreements sometimes. Don't be too hard on "just discusted". He/she is just trying to make a point or get heard.

People if you all cant deal with the way the site is operated, its very simple. Log off or limit you access!! Dont get all riled up because the admins/owners run it the way they seem fit.

I have voiced my opninion on this same issue, but i dont get my blood boiling over it. Too many more important things in my life to care about that what gets posted or not.

Just be thankful for what gets posted massive.

To the rescue M.E.2! How bout we let 'just discusted' fight their own battles and lets all not assume that any of us know what has been written by just discusted. However what we do know is that it was not in the guidelines for this forum!

Eric and Rebecca Please close this forum. I come on this site sometimes 3 times a day (call me addicted if you will) but i am so fedup with people posting crude remarks. If this person thinks this site is prejudice then simple stay away................ONE LOVE!!

to truth tells no lies, try posting condolences to a family or friend and dont see it posted and see how you would feel I know TB network is not under no obligation to post anything, but if you do it for some do for all.

To coment, many times condolence messages are posted under TB Runnin's. We will move those messages placing them under the header of Birth, Death, Marriage, Congratulations. Please check under there to see if that may be where your message is.
