I ask every two days or so about the scheduling of that meeting. I will let everyone know once I hear anything.
I agree that the delay is unconsionable.

The contractors are: DR Foote Construction Ltd., KAM-HC Associates Ltd., and V.O. & J. Heavy Equipment Ltd.

As I said three years ago, I think the damage has already been done to the land, and if the canal is made into a huge permanent drain, as many seem to want, the impacts to the sea will be serious. This is why we should approach such matters with caution, and also why we need good planning and building laws, as well as ENFORCED environmental laws.
