Just a question here to the Breds board as I have picked this up from your latest minutes.
They have said the 2 lanes by Mass Lancel and Vicas will be used as entrance exit (in whatever order). Who has authorized this? Have they thought of the way/ways this will affect persons who live in these lanes and want to enter or exit from their homes for whatever reasons whether normally or in emergencies. This has happened too numerous times when New Year's eve events are held at Jake's and persons see their homes but can't drive to get there due traffic jam for hours.
Personally I am not opposed to the park as mentioned; without the 'boogy yagga music' playing endlessly and people are unable to rest comfortably; but when 96 cars are going to enter and exit through a little private bridle track which was only meant for private homes then I have a problem. More clarification and shedding of light on this PLEEEEEAAAAASSSEEEEE!!!!

What I do know about the Fisherman's Lane is that a lot of pipes run up there to transport water to the humble residents. Numerous times heavy vehicles drive up this lane and burst the pipes and the residents are inconvenienced at times for weeks awaiting the NWC to come and fix it. Most times it is the residents who have to find material to fix it - as to make umpteenth calls to the NWC before they come is so frustrating while the residents suffer. The water also washes out the surface of the lane which is at times in some serious 'mud holes'. In other words, the excess traffic will be even worst as this will be more than the residents had bargained for and the lane is not conditioned for this.
My take on this is for them to asphalt both lanes to solve these problems; as I am certain the other lane is in a similar condition.
We the citizens of the lanes are not prepared to be inconvenienced by wanting to get home and are delayed unnecessarily; or due to ongoing burst pipes and no water; or mudholes which our cars and feet have to drop in; and also the risk of safety in our homes as we don't know who is who nowadays so we have to try to be more secured in our homes and numerous other reasons. What a price we have to pay? We know this comes with change but we are calling on the Breds authorities to asphalt the lanes or it won't be an easy ride for numerous reasons!!

Lots of people are already registering complaints about what's happening at the Sports Park. People are telling about the MANY lignum vitae trees destroyed, the pond being drained, the problems with the roads, and more. BREDS sits silently by, saying nothing.

As others have done, I am asking WHO IS IN CHARGE? IF WE SEE A PROBLEM, WHO DO WE TURN TO?

This is not satisfactory. This is not a good way to build the Sports Park. This is not a good way to build community harmony.

I have no doubt that the Breds Directors are regular readers to this website. Otherwise they would not know that persons are termed as "Outsiders" on it. They also post minutes and other information on it as well. Looking forward to get some meaningful response as I believe they now have an office in the Source office.

I sent Breds an email eight days ago at a different address, info@breds.org. It was quite polite and merely asked for some simple information. I never received a response.

So does someone have to GO to their office to get an answer? I don't get it.

Is there a particular person who I can correspond with at BREDS? If so, could I have his or her name and position with the organization? Thank-you.

Is one week the standard response time we should expect for BREDS to answer a simple question?

How do we reach the construction supervisor who was at the 22 June meeting? I ask this in case we see something happening such as the destruction of trees and need to be able to call it to someones attention quickly.

I DONT GET IT?, what do you think the standard response time should be???

I believe two working days would be appropriate for an answer to a simple question. An answer to a more difficult question or a list of questions might take twice that time, meaning four working days. By working days, I am excluding weekends and legal holidays.
