You can save money by buying a smaller wallet.

It simple says that Jamaica 'DONE.' Also why put Hugh Shearer on the bank note/ money what has he done for the country that is so significant? why not put Bob Marley? at least where ever in the world you go and mention his name it is known or if you mention Jamaica it is known because of him. He literally put us on the WORLD map.
BOB FOR THE NEW BANK NOTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5,000 maybe they will put him on the $10,000 bill since obviously that is the direction we are heading in.

I do not think Bob Marley will ever be put on a bank note in Jamaica. This is because he was a man of the "lower class" and was thought of as just another ganja smoking Rasta by the "upper class". It does not matter that he is the most well known Jamaican outside of Jamaica !
As for the $5000 note, it just says that the economic situation is getting worse in Jamaica as it is all over the world.
ONE LOVE !!

Did it ever occur that the reason is that there is so much money in Jamaica, that people need $5,000.00 bills. The average Grocery bill is in excess of $5,000.00. If our money stack was not so big, then we would not need $5,000.00 bills.

If we take a look at the other side, there is a $1000.00 bill in the USA. Not many persons have it, but it is there. This would be equal to an excess of a $8,000.00 Jamaican bill.

I do not think that many people will actually be using this $5,000.00 bill and can speak for myself that I will not be one of them using it,never have that much in my pocket anyway!!

There is no such thing as a $1000 bill in the USA, uless you are counting Monopoly money

A $1,000 US bill would be more like a JA$80,000 bill.

Last printed 70 years ago in 1934, $500.00 and $1000.00 bills are not easy to find. These bills were never made for circulation, they were ONLY meant for transactions between banks.

One thousand bills were taken out of cirulation in Canada because they were considered the currency of money launderers.

ziggy marley who has said he dose not want his father on the 5,000 note, because it would be hypocrisy to what bob stood for, he said his father stood up against the babylon system and to put him on the 5,000 note would make bob marley as part of the babylon system, which he opposed all his life, babylon system. so ziggy marley opposes. but he dose think bob marley should be a national hero.

mr.hugh shearer was prime minister from 1967-1972 which the jamaican economy grew at it's highest at 6 percent per year,, vesus a failed 1 percent average during the past 20 years............. just a little information for the uninformed :-)

How is a National Hero decided on? Who decides the design of Jamaican money?

I was not consulted, you Marlon? Anyone?

Maybe a democratic selection would create confusion. In this democratic country.

The confusion to me is that most of us have a concept of what the 'Babylon' system is, however vague. Yet, Bob, Peter and those that have given their 'overstandings of the shystem' are used to promote Ja and we are not encouraged to take these teachings to heart. Words originating in the heads of some natty headed ganja smokers. Just not on eh!?

This is one of the contradictions we are expected to accept.

Surely these contradictions are in themselves 'Babylonian'.

Y'all know I would put the oldest Lignum Vitae tree on the $5,000 bill ;-). What/who else can claim to have exceeded it's performance as an Environmental Service Provider? Remember that term people!

Thanks Marlon,
Every man has a right to his own opinion and ultimately his own destiny. Bob's babylon is no contradiction,it's each man's (mis)interpretation of the message that determines whatever it means to him. Ofcourse Babylon, true to form, can only prosper by creating chaos and confusion, misinformation. "Tell the people the truth".
