We want to thank all 26 participants for coming out and supporting the 4th annual 5 K walk and run. It was alot of fun, we had runners from 8 yrs old up, We were glad to see more kids invovled, we had people that walked the whole way and still finished in less than an hour, therefore we encourage more people to try it next year. there were great cash prizes, and other nice gifts, including cell phones and a dinner for 2 at Mar Blue Villas and Suites. A special thanks to Jim Curl , Larry, Roger , Celste, Tom & Susan, and Janette and Myrlette for the logistical help and all our sponsors.

Kory why is there such a big difference between the number of participants you mention and the number BREDS mentions? Are we talking about two separate events?

Yes, they are two separate events. This event occurs the night before the Triathlon.

Great evening event ..nice to see all ages and runners and walkers . Kory you will have to find new water boys for Trinity Bay next year .. Tom and I are going to enter the event .. don't forget to have an over 60 category!!!
