In case Ya'll think I forgot.

I was discussing the St Anne area Guitar Makers in the mid last century with Brother G. I think I introduced him once. He teaches me Anciency and the secrets of plants and animals.

He remember the craftmen during the 1930's using Rose Apple for the curved sides, Cedar or Mahogany of the best and most resonant quality for the top and back and Mahoe for the neck and fretboard. The inner construction etc are still to be revealed. I would use West Indian Ebony for the fretboard.

Lignum or Ebony would be ideal for the pegs which where used before metal gears. Like the violin ones.

My thing is the pure old Spanish style with nylon strings, no metal. He was described a steel string rhythm and picking unit that would destroy the nails of some that chose to grow nails for picking instead of creating calouses. It also has that special sound that goes with playing in caves. Natch, the perfect places, resonance and silence.

Just a reminder for anyone interested. As with everything the current $ thing is inhibiting a lot. The spirits are more than willing but the temporal not easy now.

If you've read so far, please ask around for some quality well cured wood for the project.

Parallel to it will be the germination and care of all the seedlings of the types we utilise and more.

Have a Great Sunday.
