Could someone tell me the possible ways and costs to travel from Treasure Beach & spend the day in Black River. Is there a bus that runs back & forth? And, how much would a taxi run be up there? Is is possible to get a ride back?

Very easily done with a "route taxi" between TB and Black River.
Costs about $1US each way.
They run pretty regularly, especially doing the weekdays.

route taxi from Frenchmens, Calabash and Great Bay to Black River is $170J - expect to pay $200J from Billy's Bay

it is easy to get a taxi back - ask your driver to show you where to wait for a taxi back to Treasure Beach

after 7pm and on Sundays getting a ride can be a bit more of a challenge, but possible

there is no bus service to Black River

or

you could hire a driver (check with the staff at your guesthouse) to take you and wait for you and take you back - i don't travel that way so i have no idea of the cost, i am sure that someone on here will have that information

A boat would be quick and easy! Lots of guys willing to take you for a small price! I wish i could give you a price, but it all depends on who youn talk to.

Take a route taxi. I can not recall what it cost but it cheap.
