As some of you may know, the Treasure Beach Women's Group (TBWG)recently hosted another successful health fair, which included volunteers from the US working alongside members of the Treasure Beach community. On this trip we were also able to incorporate a day of visits to the homebound, which is a program we would like to expand in the future. We were also able to add glaucoma tests and to do EKGs, and the TBWG building expanded its stock of medical equipment and supplies for future medical visits.

Noted dermatologist Rob Norman returned for his third visit, and was able to follow up with many folks from prior trips. Dr. William Eng was here for the second time, and again provided all of the followup testing and lab work in the US free of charge. We had many, many volunteers from the TBWG and several folks who were on vacation and showed up to help! Thanks again to Katie Loveday and Celeste Anderson, our organizers; Rebecca Wiersma for physical transport and moral support; Axel and Andrea of Mar Blue for once again donating villa space and feeding the doctors; Robert, Lavern and Hio of Doubloon for their care and kindness; and our good friend Alteman Graham for driving everyone around and generally being there to help, as always.

Last but not least, thanks to all of the members of the Treasure Beach Women's Group. You are a force for good in this community and an inspiration to women everywhere, and none of this could happen without you.

We hope to be back this summer for a larger health fair, and look forward to seeing all of you then!!

Much love to Treasure Beach,

Janet Nichols and Erik MacPeek
