Hey, TBNet, how about a new profile?
Hi Eric,
I was just talking to some one in TB today and even mentioned someone I think should be "The One".
Here I am 12 hours later and you are asking the same question.
I was just logging off before going to bed then decided to have one quick look to see if anything new was posted.
Profile? Wha???
I will start to put the pressure on Miss Zane and the students.
Could we please profile Miss Madge Ebanks who was once the principal of Sandy Bank School?
could we do a profile maas.heartwell from sandy bank
I would love to see miss Madge picture in the profile, she was my grade four teacher, she is a great lady.
The student decides who they would like to profile. We have no input on that decision.
It's great that the students get to make the decision on who they would like to profile, but can't we at least throw out some suggestions and then they choose from them?
Of course you can give suggestions. We just want to make sure everyone knows that we (TBNet) don't have the final say.
I suspect TBNet would not turn back any story on the life of any of our senior citizens, done by adults who know them well. I believe there is a place for all of those. The only difference is that there is a specific section for Profiles, done by students of Sandy Bank Primary School.
The conditions under which these profiles are written are fairly well known and that should be respected.
Let the Sandy Bank students do their thing in their own space. As for those who feel moved to do some of their own in another section of the website; I suggest you go ahead; I will read them, and so will others, I'm sure!
Thanks TBNet for your kind, intelligent response. The excellent job you are doing is greatly appreciated.
