We heard that there was a new cafe in Calabash Bay
Can anyone tell me if they have wireless, and expresso?
How are the baked goods?

It's a great spot and the deserts are to die for. I am there almost every day. Wireless internet available as well. Don't know about the espresso but the coffee is very good. It's on the lane down to the fisherman's beach in Calabash Bay.

I am back in Wisconsin after a week in TB and longing for some of the Fresh Double Ginger Gingerbread from Culloden Tea Garden, as they are now called. Formerly in Westmoreland, they are baking up a storm - all yummy. There is wireless service but no computers. And the Callaloo Shop, at the same location is a really unique place to shop!

Yes, there's a wonderful new spot right on the corner leading down to Calabash Bay beach. Ann from Colloden Cafe and Sophie from Calalloo Butiq in Negril have joined together to open a lovely spot for gifts and sweets. The french press coffee is delicious, Ann has yummy baked goods, and yes, they have wireless. Try their Tia Maria Chocolate Cake and the Lemon Squares, and you'll be going back for more.

This place has been terrible - for my waistline that is! Fabulous desserts, muffins, corn bread and my favorite is the delicious variety of iced teas.

Wow, and I WAS excited about Patties and Jerk and fresh fish but now all I can think of is a steaming french press and some Tia Maria Chocolate Cake! Only 10 more sleeps!!!! OOOO I can barely stand it - I AM going to burst!

Trans Love Memories:...As I recall from many, many moons ago, really fine gourmet pastries arrived in Treasure Beach with the Trans Love Cafe.
From our grapevine, we leaned that the business was, after many changes, operated by Jackie, who recently passed away, and Audrey, whose name may be associated with cooking at a local villa.

We remember wonderful chocolate ganache and tropical fruit cakes to die for.
We remember an industrious (yet laid-back) couple, Julie, who would break out into Van Morrison songs, and her "husband" Michael, replaced by Ralpf, in the baking role.
What's happened to Trans Love and are Julie, Michael/Ralph or any of those good souls still in TB, perhaps rolled over into partnership with Ann's local Colloden Cafe?

Miss Rebecca, maybe you could shoot some pictures of the new cafe or "feature" it in the "Eat & Play" link. Thanks
