Is there any news on Peanut? I'm hoping for his safely return. He's so sweet.

Good luck, Sally.

Try newspapers, radio, and posters?

Does Jamaica have a problem with dog snatching?

Sounds "fishy" to me.

Was "Peanut" known to roam? Always saw him on the property only. Best of luck!

Makes you wonder with all the negative comments made toward "Jakes" and Jason that she would disappear now. So sorry for your loss of "Peanut", Sally & Jason. My "Dora" was missing for 3 days last year and fortunately she had a collar on with our telephone number. She was about 4 miles away from home when I got a call. Boy, what a relief. We had to buy an invisible fence, battery & electric controlled, to keep her from roaming. Said a little prayer for "Peanut" that she is okay and you find her soon. Hang in there and keep looking. Posters and newspapers may help, I even went on the radio and posted a $100 reward which I gladly paid to have my friend/baby back. OXOX

Could Peanut be with the pack of dogs roaming in Frenchman? So sorry, Sally, Jason, and family. Hoping he turns up soon.

I too hope Peanut going missing is a total coincidence. No pet deserves anything bad because of what people might think about his owner. That is beyond disgusting.

There is no reason to assume any foul play. Let us not even go down the road of assumption.

He is 14 years old which is a very good old age for a Jack Russell. Anything could have happened.

YOU KNOW WHAT...IF IT WASN'T FOR JASON TREASURE BEACH WOULD NOT BE WHAT IT IS TODAY. HE IS A GOOD PERSON AND HAS AND STILL IS DOING GOOD FOR THE COMMUNITY...PLEASE GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR HIS GOOD WORK AND FOR HELPING FAMILIES TO GET A PAY CHEQUE TO FEED THEIR FAMILIES.
TREASUR BEACH PEOPLE ARE SOMETIMES VERY UNGRATEFULL. STOP AND THINK BEFORE YOU BAD TALK HIM.

You know what ... Jason gets the credit deserved for what he does, both good and bad. All you are seeing is people feeling free to express their opinions in a respectful manner. Jamaica is a democracy and so is Treasure Beach.

TB Resident, people who work hard, have a positive attitude and are honest will find and keep jobs. Jason employs many of these people and I would think they are grateful for this. Jason also does good in the community, and people are grateful for that. This does not mean that people must be in favor of anything and everything he proposes. Are you suggesting if people disagree with him he will not continue to do anything else good in Treasure Beach? Or are you suggesting he will not employ people from the community? If this is what you mean, I think that is an insult against Jason because Jason is too smart to cut off his nose to spite his face. If you meant something different, please explain because I am misunderstanding you.

I don't believe anyone is being ungrateful to Jason or any other employer. Afterall persons are needed to make the employment successful - moreso it is cheaper to employ persons from right in the community too, so that's not the point. If it was Jason or another employer everyone would still be grateful, however the point is not everything that is pushed down the native's throat should be swallowed 'hook, bait and sinker'. I believe in consultation before the fact with the person's from the community.
Can you imagine if everyone was left to do as they like? What would be a chaotic community!!
Even the good book tells us that everything must be done decently and in good order.

What I do know about dogs is that sometimes when they are that old and are ready to die they rather to go away somewhere quietly. It would seem as if they rather to do this than have their owners finding their lifeless bodies. It's kind of out of respect. 14 years is kind of like the average life span for dogs. It's sad but that's life. My sympathy to Peanut's family as I know we all can get attached to our pet's - they are like our family. I kind of focus on the good times i.e. memories of my pet - it works!
