I have gotten numerous emails and phone calls today from many in the US complaining of cold and lots of snow, so I though I would take a quick walk down to Calabash Bay beach and take a few shots.

So, here is some Jamaican warmth being sent to all of you who are suffering from cold, snow and freezing rain! These are hot off the camera, only about 10 minutes old. Hope it works!!

It's about 82 degrees, nice breeze blowing and the sun is shining brightly. Come on down!

Rebecca you take beautiful pictures and I was just wondering if you could get a bunch of pictures of the local flowers. Hibiscus is my favourite flower in the whole world and it warms my heart to see one here.

Hey Kathy our number one place is Treasure Beach too! Getting married there too in 2011!
I have been to Austin Texas, Singapore, Houston Texas, isle of whyte and Jamaica in in the last three months!

Rebecca it was howling wind, freezing cold and wet on the Isle of Whyte. And everything is shut over winter! Even the cheese shop was closed, mark was devastated LOL

Coppa I am passionate about flowers and plants too and I have lots of photos of flowers from my most recent trip to Jamaica email me and I can send you some. I took very close up shots!

Rebecca, if you could see the amount of snow we are having here in the UK right at this moment, you would not be showing those pictures of those beautiful flowers etc.

You sure know how to rub salt in the wound- dont you?

When I see the blue sea in the pictures, I did feel a bit better started singing sweet, sweet, sweet Jamaica and 96 degrees in the shade.

This morning I woke up to two different weather. I looked out side my kitchen window and the sun was shining and the snow was coming down.
(Jamaica watch out.)
It is the worst I have seen it for the past twenty five years. Lets us all pray that it will get better. So many people are out of work and can't offord heating cost. It is not looking pretty.
