Hello TB!
Preparing excitedly for my fourth trip to JA, first to TB. Will i be ok with US dollar in TB area or should I change to Jamaican bills?
Thanks all!!
from what I remember most places will accept american, but having a couple thousand J on hand doesn't hurt either
The US dollar is most certianly welcome in Treasure Beach, but you will find that when using Jamaican dollars you will get more for your dollar than US dollar.
You can exchange US dollars at Jakes no problem mon.
Thank You, that is what I figured! I am an artist not a mathematician. Didn't want to have to think to much about currency conversion while my head was clouded with RUM!

My two cents is that its much easier to use JA$, but you can also use US$...you just might have to wait a bit longer for your change. :-)
Fantastic! Thanks for the information on the cheat sheet! I will do that! After all the JMD is so much prettier than the USD
