I was watching snipets of the Inauguration Celebration held at the Lincoln Memorial today. I don't have TV so I was just surfing the net finding different clips here and there and found this one.

How cool and how appropriate, eh?

Hey Becky, This was a very touching moment. This is the song that I've been playing ever since the election day. Marley's music will never dies. Here in the U.S.A a lot of folks really love his music. JAMAICA? YEAH MAN!!!!!!!!!

A word to the wise....she (very much) prefers to be called "Rebecca". :-)

And thanks for posting that clip, partner. Its a great tribute to the music of Jamaica that people of good will use the song and build upon it to make a greater call for peace and unity.

I agree with you Hypnotiq. Some people just too nuff and like to insult others.

To answer the question at hand, I am Rebecca's business partner and very good friend of 10+ years, co-creator and moderator of this web site, and one who knows Rebecca is too polite to remark on the subject publicly.

Based on her response, it appears Rosie understood what I was saying and took it appropriately.

One Love,
Eric

To Hypnotiq. Everything Eric said in the above messages is true, especially about our very long friendship and him knowing me well and I sincerely thank him for eloquently stating my dislike of being called Becky.

Eric does not "think" he knows me well, but does indeed know me well - and likes me in spite of that. :-)

Rosie, thank you for understanding and my respect to you as well.

Now, let's get back on the track of this thread, which is pretty awesome and inspiring. Let us try to really practice the message in this song. "One love, one heart. Let's get together and feel all right."

I watched with tears of joy this morning in California! I too thought that the core message today was LOVE! Love is the only way to pure joy in life. We need to live each day with gratitude and LOVE for each other. We are truly ONE PEOPLE! I am so excited for our future! I am hopeful that this beautiful strong new family will bring our nation (and world) together and make us strong again!

I am also really excited about my return trip to Jamaica in March!!!! Can't wait to meet the people of Treasure Beach :-) :-)
