What and Where in TB are the places that offer Internet Service for visitors ?

I too will be spending considerable time in the area and will be in need of computer and internet service, for at least 4 or 5 hours a week. It is unlikely that I will have a laptop available for my use while in Jamaica and need to know where it is I can go to do my work when necessary.

I searched some previous posts, but I know that things change. I am wondering about internet and computer availablity for visitors in the area who are not staying at accommodations that all ready have this available to their guests.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

I am wondering if anyone knows of internet cafe available in Junction or Southfield or in that area.
I am staying a bit outside of Treasure Beach.

Southern Supplies and Services has a computer and internet. They are located next to the ice factory and the Sandy Bank Primary School. Not sure of other places that have a computer you can use. Maybe someone else has an idea.

For Southfield, the library has computers and Internet you can use.

Junction, the library and a few computer stores have internet access and computers. Just ask when you are there.

I thought the BREDS office was going to reopen again as an internet cafe plus other added services. Has this not happened?

It's amazing to read about people looking for internet services when they are on vacation.
Please leave the office behind and go have fun in the sun, don't take your work with you.

People ...........Go eat, drink make friends and have the fun of a life time.
That is why they call it "VACATION".

I think its helpful to keep in mind that while some of us do use the Internet for work while we're on vacation (which allows me to travel as much as I do), others may use it to keep tabs on a sick relative while away or to send a picture of the great vacation they are having, etc.

To each their own.

Some of us are "on vacation" for several weeks ,or even months..internet is an invaluable tool for keeping your life in order back home.. I personally don`t work in an office..so I have nothing, but winter, to leave behind..

Not everyone who comes to Jamaica comes for what you call vacation.
Some of us come to help with an ailing family member or some other such reason.

I will be spending months in Jamacia much more than the usual week or two week that you most likely spend on your vacation.
I need to contiune doing what I do so that I can enjoy the warmth and sunshine of my beloved Jamaica.

For Your Information I always have the fun of a life time - even if I have work to do on my computer in Jamaica - I promise you its better than working on the computer in a freezing cold climate.

Please be careful of the assumtions you make about people and their situations that you don't know anything about.
