What was the cost to spend NYE at Jake Sprats, usually the concert is very resonable.

its still expensive...last year it was $300, if i can recall correctly. In times like these how many people do u think can afford to pay $1000 just to see a couple of artists, plus many people would have wanted to bring their family but was unable to because they have to think about the reopening of school on the 5th...the turn out was poor compared to the past years.

I think it's fair to say, enjoy if you can afford. For those who can't afford, stay behind the walls and listen.I'm sure those artists don't come cheap. If the artists were volunteering, that would be different.Maybe the promoter didn't even cover expenses. Please, please be considerate.

I guess I think of it from a business owner stand point. How much more expensive it is to put on an event like this. How much has to go to the artists, water bill, electric bill, staffing, etc., etc. As the cost of everything has gone up, I would guess it is inevitable that the cost for admission would have to go up as well.

So it was about 10 us dollars for the concert. Not bad really to hear live music you like and at a great place.

Just to let you understand, a night like that in
Canada would be at least $80.00 to $100.00 Canadian
per person with food. Drinks would be extra.

It is about 13$ US. Fine for tourists, but pretty much excludes locals. If they are lucky, they make that much in a day!
