Lyric Villa has just had a last minute cancellation for the dates of Feb 1 - 8. We are a four bedroom, ocean front villa with swimming pool in Calabash Bay. The rate for one week is 1350 US/week (for up to 4 people) and this includes all taxes and surcharges, the full amenities of the house plus the services of our cook/housekeeper Polly and our caretaker Lancel. We are centrally located and a five minute walk to Jakes, Jack Sprat and other local restaurants and shops. I have stayed a Lyric and found it to be very clean and a great beach house to stay in.
Polly and Lancel are good people and will take proper care of all of your needs.
They will not intrude on your privacy, but are friendly and welcoming and will make you feel relaxed and at home.
Polly is a great cook and will cook whatever you desire or if you can not make up your mind what to eat then she will do that for you - no stress.
I visit them when I visit Treasure Beach even if I am not staying at Lyric. They have made me feel so very welcome.
Lyric has been my most favorite accomodations in Treasure Beach.
oh yeah, and I loved the outdoor shower

No complaints....any chance on you posting some interior photos as I imagine you must have many if you have stayed there a few times. We are no stranger to Treasure Beach and renting villas however, I am reluctant to rent a place that doesn't show any interior photos. When we stayed at Doubloon we noticed that people would pass along that stretch of beach via Lyrics property, is that still happening?

I would love to share indoor photos if I had some - the only ones I have would not be of any help to you - my pictures are highlighting the subject/person and do not show much of the interior of Lyric.

Pictures are great, but everyone should remember that anyplace can be made to look good for a couple of photos. How many times have we thought ahhhhhhh, thats not like the photo.

I can not recall hearing negative comments in regards to Lyric and anyone who has stayed there with me has always loved it, and one of my travelling companions is very choosy about things and has a thing about everything being very very clean - and even she was able to relax at Lyric

May I suggest, that is if you have not already done it, is to do a search on this board and see what other guests have had to say in the past.

I wish you luck and am sure that you would be pleased if you stay there - drinking coffee out by the pool in the morning and watching the dolphins swim by...........

Lyric is an excellent place to stay for sure. I am very picky about my accommodations food etc and I found everything to be beyond my expectations!!! 6 of us stayed there last year and 7 of us are going back again. Polly has the ability to read minds, you just think of wanting to do something or go somewhere and she is arranging it for you....
