We'll be returning 'home' in late January for a two week stay in Treasure Beach, and I'll have my guitar with me. Any suggestions where a 'folky/hippie' amateur gutarist might find a jam session or two? I had a great time at Fisherman's last year! Others? Thanks for your input!
Hi Big Joe,
We will be in Jamaica during that time and play quite a bit. We stay at Shakespeares so look us up. Also you will usually find people playing Sunday morning at "One Love Bakery" (?) used to be trans-love. Just down the road from Shakespeares toward Button Bay. Hope to see you...Vicca at Fisherman's knows us also.

Sounds great, folks! We'll be 'across the street' at Golden Sands for most of our stay, and will for sure look you up! Soon come!
We'll be coming down to Treasure Beach on Feb. 7 and stayng at Jake's. I always bring my "blues harps" thus my stage name Harpo Marc. I played pro for a while but now just play for enjoyment in various styles. Let me know what keys you like to play in and I'll bring the appropriate harps. If you are around I'd love to jam.
Soon come isn't soon enough for me. This winter has been brutal.

Marc,
We'll be next door at Sunset from the 12-22. I've got lots of Mississippi saxophone tunes. The Walters, The Sonny Boys, Junior Wells, Billy Boy Arnold, James Cotton, Slim Harpo, William Clarke, Charlie Musselwhite, Rod Piazza, Jim Liban, Rick Estrin, Sugar Ray Norcia, Gary Primach, Kim Wilson, Lazy Lester, Carey Bell, Mitch Kashmar, Mark DuFresne, Steve Guyger, Jerry Portnoy, Madison Slim and my personal favorite, James Harman and well I guess you get the idea. I hope to hear you while we're there if only at The Bakery on Sunday morning. Come on over and introduce yourself at Sunset Resort. Kory's always got something going on for Valentine's Day and one year I got to hear some blues from Kingston.
Mike
Most excellent, gents! We're in the area starting 1.29 through 2.12, and I can play in just about any key. I've got a bunch of Buffett, John Hiatt, The Band and that ilk in my repetoire; not a pro, but I have fun! How about Commander Cody's "Seeds and Stems"? That's got a nice harmonica spot in it. Let's do get together; maybe we can set something up at Fisherman's. It was 5 below today! Get me outta here!
