I have browsed many tour sites and I was interested in the deep sea fishing tour,why is it so expensive?what do you feel is a reasonable rate for a day or a few hours fishing?

There are several reasons for the cost you're seeing: high gas prices, insurance, boat maintenance, etc. Remember that Jamaica has to import all its petroleum.

As for a 'reasonable' rate for a couple hours, I'll let others who know better respond.
