The Caretaker was excited by this data.

The collection includes a bronze beaker (hand sized drinking cup) with hand inscribed Aramaic letters. It is probably mid eastern 300 +BC.

'Dem did dig it up inna bush'..somewhere in Jamdown.

It would make sense that the Spaniards would start bringing old brass/bronzes in exchange for gold with the Taino. If hawks bells were special a bronze cup nust have been a boom.

The Spanish Inquisition opened Jewish cupboards and chests and the contents would have been available all over. Old bronze beakers from the ancestors would logically be carried and cherished. Old bronze cup...cheap..they wanted gold and jewels.

Coincidentally for you seekers of the Ark of the Covenant: when Pharoah Shishak took the contents of Solomon's Temple to Egypt, he had the booty chiselled in stone in Karnak.

The ritual objects and their quantity.

Emmanuel Velikovsky suggests that the said Ark would be just another box, the Egyptians had many. See Tutankhamun's treasure.

The beaker will be among items in the collection he is offering. There is much research to be done on this and other items in the collection. The above is conjecture. It may have come from a Victorian gentlemans collection or did Phoenicians/Judeans/Africans land in Ja before X Columbus?

We have had a very positive response to the museum in TB possibility. Will keep you posted.

Turey, you never cease to fascinate and educate.
These threads are what I was talking about. Teaching something new to someone old.
