Just had a text from a friend who has recently returned from the USA.Aparently Americans are rushing about trying to find the yam that Usain eats.I do hope that the Minister for Agriculture will tap into this and that it will translate into helping those struggling farmers in Jamaica. It is indeed a golden opportunity to promote Jamaica. The Tourist Board should also use the success of our athletes to sell Jamaica to the world.I am sure that an increasing number of people will be curious about this dynamic treasure in the Caribbean sea.

So when I come to TB next month, where can I get some yam?

Now I just need to find someone to cook it for me. Is it common that yam is on the menu at restaurants?

We get our yams from African stores in Vancouver.

Grown the old way without NPK or chemicals.

Nothing taste like yaad food though.

Did you know Jamaica is called 'Little Africa' by some in the Old World. My head swell when I heard.
