There was so much negetative talks leading up to the Games about pollution,food etc. in China but its the best I have seen since I have been watching from 1976 when Donald Quarrie brought Jamaica gold in the 200m.The organization seemed to have been well done,security, accomodation and hospitality all scored China good.The opening and closing ceremonies were such wonderful spectacles.

One of the lessons we can learn from that as Jamaicans is not to let people who speak negetative of Jamaica keep us back. Instead show them by our works, our talents, our sense of determination and dignity that we are winners and prove it to the world forcefully but as humbly as the Chinese did.
