I feel Treasure Beach needs a point of contact for people,
(either tourists/visiting relatives or friends)
who would like to volunteer some of their holiday time/effort or money on helping others.
For instance if somebody has a list of what they are bringing with them to donate-the contact would know which area would benefit from that donation and be able to provide the volunteer with a phone number or contact address ,or if a group of people interested in supplying paint and willing to paint for instance a school, the contact could arrange that for them-if they wish to supply a football kit to the team they would be able to do so etc etc.

A lot of people outside of the all inclusive compounds on holiday to jamaica would probably enjoy spending some of their time doing things such as these but many just do not know where to start.
I personally have trawled a lot of websites for getting involved with things like this in treasure beach in particular but have found none.
there is the vijon site but they are only interested in you if:
1)you use and pay for the accomodation they want to provide+ all meals
2)if there is a group of you and you have to find the group.
Never really had a positive response from them so I was a bit dissapointed as they didn't live up to my high expectations that their website gave me of them.If you have already booked your accomodation elsewhere they are not interested at all.
