From time immemorial, during hurricane season in Jamaica, we have been battening down our windows and doors with some combination of shutters and weathered plywood, often with improper anchors in masonry or wood.

After the storms or season passes, "someone" ("Wassa") is patching all those anchor holes, until the next cycle of hurricanes arrive.

I am putting out a clarion call to all those in Treasure Beach, who might consider themselves Innovators or looking for a worthwhile Entrepreneural Opportunity.

What if there were a protective fabric, wind-tested to 200mph, with solid anchoring points for continuous wind loads (Remember Ivan!)? to shutter windows/doors, especially large lethal openings like garages.

To the Jason's (JAKES); Normile's/Buchanan's (BUCCANEER VILLA); Axel's (MARBLUE); Kennedy's (RAINBOW TREE); Finlanson's (BUTTON BAY), and anyone else in the community, who feels they could have a good interactive relationship with
a Florida Business Enterprise, to check out the WEB SITE:

The benefits of an easily stored protective device (like putting away your blankets) with less manual labour, quickly helping our less able neighbours, and the possibility of a local distributorship certainly deserves a "pilot effort". Nuh?

By the way, Church Ladies, who is the Patron Saint protecting our roofs, windows, Beaches, and our scalps from storm ravages? Must be a Bible Story, there, somewhere!
