It is my belief that there might be many children in the Treasure Beach Area that benefits from Manchester High School, so the posting of this message might then be appropriate for the Website. If it is not, and if it violates the Forum Rules, then please do not publish.

I just wanted to inform all that participates in this forum that The Florida Chapter who substantially helped the Manchester High School's succesful Penn relay Team this year, is launching their membership drive in Davie, Florida on June 21st., 2008 with a Dinner Social.

If there is anyone that visits this site and knows of any Manchester High school Alumni that resides in or is in contact with Old Students in the South, Central and West Florida region, that might want to become active members of the Alumni, Please e-mail me at maurhar@comcast.net or have them e-mail me for further information.

The Alumni is being incorporated as we speak and we are in the process of getting our Section 501 (c) (3) application in so that we can accept donations that are tax deductible and also make our organization very much subjected to rules that would ensure all funds go to the high school. I am an alumni and so are two of my older brothers and my husband.I am a 1978 grad. Certainly I am from Treasure Beach, and I visit this site frequently. I have heard of the Florida chapter, so I will email you for further info.
