HOW IS IT THAT WHEN SOME PEOPLE PUT THEIR BIRTHDAYS AND DEATH ANNIVERSARY IN YOUR COLUMN IT DISAPPEARS SO QUICKLY, AND OTHERS STAYS SO LONG?

There are two reasons why a message might 'disappear'.

1) If you are using the "New in the last 24 hours" link in the upper left corner, it will show any posts that have been made (and approved) in the past 24 hours. If no one has posted a message in that time, it won't show up.

2) The message might have been moved. A few days ago, several people posted messages in different threads (columns) for the same person. We moved them into the same thread to keep everything organized.

I'm sorry you have had no response. It could be folks reading this don't know or maybe they do not wish to put something they feel is personal on a public forum.
