I bought several little bottles of Appleton Rum from the gift shop at the restuarant next to Jack spratt's at $5.50 each for a total of $38.50 and I thought the GCT tax was 8.25$ for $3.18 for a grand total of $41.68 but I was charged $46.23. Is there another tax that I'm missing?

Due to tax incentives and tax breaks, there are different rates of GCT charged. For liquor you would have been charged 16.5%.
