As a quick morsel to whet the appetite, we're going to start using Google Maps with villas/guest houses/restaurants and other points of interest on it. So you'll be able to see exactly where everything is along with roads, etc.

Please Eric , i know we have spoken previously but please make the photo section the best it can be in terms of size and resolution. Arguably this feature is the most important to attract new visitors, tickle the fancy of the old ones, make the site a daily visit and encourage photographers to submit their images.

Agree with steve Swain.I have only submitted photos once and it took so long to do. On other forums I am able to upload onto a site such as Photobucket,simply click on the img code,copy and paste on to the forum message area and the photo uploads. I find this site really complicated but maybe it's become easier recently.I've not tried for a couple of years!! Good luck with the eventual re design Eric!

Making photos easier to post would be awesome. You guys can probably do it blindfolded, but we mere mortals have a lot of problems attempting to put up a photo or two. I have gotten to the point where I don't even try and some of my friends feel that way too.

I tried to post a photo the other day and gave up. I don't think I'm stupid but I had my doubts after I tried.

We hear you and know the photo section is not all it could be. And we're working on an improved layout for our ads as well.

A question: are people having problems uploading pictures to the Photo Gallery, or to Forum posts like this one?

Never tried to post to photo gallery. Forum posts are killer difficult to do. I don't try anymore. Want to see pictures here in the Forum - only in the Photo Gallery if there are lots of a special event. Even if in the Photo Gallery it would still be nice to see 1 or 2 of them in the Forum and then be able to go to the Gallery to see the whole lot.
