We're going to add more pictures to the site. So far we're toying with the idea of have rotating pictures on the home page and with adding more pictures on the Where to Stay and Eat and Play.

What suggestions do you have for placing pictures on the site?

I have taken some pics when visiting family in TB back in 04 and 06. I have also posted them in the photo gallery. It could be a great idea to poste some of them as they have lush greens, vibrant colors and the natural look and feel of the area. I can email samples to you directly. Please advise. Possible suggestions of placing the pics could be on the header of each page. The side border located on each page. Instead of using text, use a picture/icon. As mouse scrolls over pic/icon the txt displays ie Pic of camera, for photo gallery, pic of local are to view the art gallery, pic of TBWG to view community groups ect...MattieO

You could add pictures of:-
1. Churches in the area
2. Regular pics of school activities
3. A golden ager album i.e. persons over 70 plus
4. A new babies album
5. Singles with contact numbers and pics (optional)
6. Regular unusual pics i.e. funny pics which will bring some laughter like the man riding with the melon on his back without holding it

Maybe its just my equipment, but pix in photo gallery/slide shows are too big for the space alloted on the site. Maybe those sections could go to full-screen size?

As far as suggestions go, I guess the more pics the better. Perhaps a layout similar a newspaper...ie Toronto Star, Jamaican Observer.

Snapshot pic of the event ie with breif summary. Easter Egg Hunt, Calabash 09, The Source Grand Opening, SB Primary Grad 09. This way people will get a visual of what is to come. Either way the ideas seem great and I look forward to the changes. MattieO

Van are you saying that the picture is too big for the browser window and you have to scroll side to side to see it all? Can you give me an example of where this happens?

Thanks for the ideas. Keep them coming.

When we were in TB this spring I was pleassantly suprised to see and to meet a lot of folks who have been away a long time and have recently returned to retire in TB and surrounding area . What about a site that welcomes them back , with a profile and updates of what they have been doing in the interim , include maiden names this could be away for these folks to connect or reconnect with their friends and assimilate back ino the community.

A much larger photoviewer would be really great and a download tool to download pictures so it would resize images for tb net. This is why I don't post up my pictures as they all would need altered to fit the criteria and I just don't have time! Other sites like facebook for instance have a download tool on the site , makes adding pictures really easy!
When will the site change , any idea?
Looking forward to thev re vamp!

Yes. For many, I have to scroll side to side, and most up and down. I admit my equipment is old, but I do enjoy the pix. I'm not much on technology, but can there be a minimize/maximize capability. Thanks.
